Everyone's Talking About Lilibet & Archie in Meghan Markle's Christmas Card—But That's Not the Pic That Caught My Eye

If you recall, this pic was taken during their visit to the Lightway Academy in Abuja, Nigeria, which was part of the Invictus Games anniversary celebration. While there, the happy couple spoke with students, participated in activities and enjoyed a few performances—all while (non-verbally) communicating how smitten they still are with each other.

The above holiday card pic is just one example of many. In it, Prince Harry is losing it as he bursts into giggles—something that I don't see too often—and Markle, who sits beside him, can't help but join in as she looks at him. Their relaxed postures and genuine laughter show that there's mutual trust and that they feel safe in each other's company. Also, Markle's positive response to her husband indicates they were on the same page emotionally.

In it, Prince Harry leans in toward his wife while Markle gently places her hand on his knee—a common sign of affection. Also, both are completely relaxed and smiling from ear to ear as they participate in the festivities, speaking to their confidence and rock-solid bond.

But back to the holiday card. Compared to all the other photo selections, I believe this candid snap best captures their marriage. There's zero pressure to perform for spectators and they're simply embracing the moment. Also, it's quite refreshing to see Prince Harry letting go with a deep laugh, and to see his wife's loving gaze as she joins in.
