Meghan Markle, 42, made her return to New York City in style. To commemorate World Mental Health Day, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex participated in The Archewell Foundation Parents’ Summit: Mental Wellness in a Digital Age, which took place on Tuesday, October 10.

The first-ever in-person event hosted by their non-profit organization focused on raising a child in the age of social media and included a number of heartbreaking stories. While the couple, aka the proud parents of Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2, took part in an open panel discussion, royally-obsessed fans were also able to admire Markle’s show-stopping ensemble.

For the occasion, per W Magazine, the Suits alum donned an off-the-shoulder cream power suit designed by Altuzarra, pairing the outfit with nude Aquazzura Purist 105mm Pointed-Toe Pumps ($654). She accessorized the look with a gold pendant necklace and drop earrings.

Markle kept her hair relatively simple for the event, where she donned a slicked-back bun with a neat middle part and side bangs. Meanwhile, her hubby, Prince Harry, 39, opted for a black tux with a light blue shirt and tie.

During the panel discussion, Markle delivered an emotional speech about some of the heartbreaking stories she’s heard from parents and families who experienced tragedy as a result of social media. “A year ago we met some of the families, and at the time, it was impossible not to be in tears hearing their stories because it’s just that devastating,” she said, according to People magazine.

She continued, “As parents, though our kids are really young, two-and-a-half and four-and-a-half, but social media isn’t going away and by design, there was an entry post that was supposed to be positive and create community but something has devolved and there’s no way to hear that and not try to help these families have their stories be heard.”
