We woke up this morning to find that Meghan Markle had brought us an early Christmas present in the form of a gorgeous red gown.
Markle returned to New York yesterday with Prince Harry after visiting the city only a couple months ago. The pair attended the Salute to Freedom Gala hosted by the Intrepid Museum in order to present the Intrepid Valor Award to service members and veterans living with the invisible wounds of war.
While rumors floated that Prince Harry would be in attendance, Markle's appearance was a complete surprise, and she certainly caught everyone's attention.
The Duchess of Sussex wore a bright red gown designed by Carolina Herrera's Creative Director, Wes Gordon. The elegant design featured a plunging neckline and heart-shaped bodice, as well as a flowing pleated skirt. The skirt included an interior layer with a slit cut right down the middle. She paired the gown with matching red Samia slingback pumps from Giuseppe Zanotti.
