It looks like Meghan Markle's very first book just got Archie's stamp of approval.
During her interview with NPR, which was recorded before she welcomed Lilibet, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that Archie, her 2-year-old son, is loving her new children's book, The Bench. She said, "Archie loves the book. He has a voracious appetite for books... When we read him a book, he goes 'Again, again.'"
Markle added, "Now the fact that he loves The Bench and we can say, 'Mommy wrote this for you,' feels amazing."
For those who are unfamiliar with Markle's new best-seller, it's a poem that's told from the perspective of a mother who observes the special bond between fathers and sons—and it was actually inspired by Prince Harry. Markle explained, "Watching them from out of the window and watching [my husband] just, you know, rock him to sleep or carry him ... those lived experiences, from my observation, are the things that I infused in this poem."
