We Can’t Stop Watching This Resurfaced Video of Meghan Markle Dancing with Baby Archie

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle rarely share photos of their two children—Archie and Lilibet—with the public. So, when an old video of Archie recently resurfaced, fans were thrilled to revisit the priceless clip.

Cosmopolitan re-shared a throwback video that was taken during Archie’s first royal event. The outing took place in 2019 when the Sussex family met Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter, Thandeka, during a trip to South Africa. The footage featured a rare mother-son moment between Archie and Markle, who danced their way through the get-together.

The video (see above) was shared on Prince Harry and Markle’s joint Instagram account and showed the royal couple arriving at The Desmond and Leah Tutu Legacy Foundation headquarters with Archie in tow.

Markle introduced the baby to their hosts before sitting down on a couch with Archie in her lap. The pair can be seen dancing in their seats, while the archbishop laughed and admired their moves. In another clip, the duchess bounced her son up and down during a group photo, which was likely a soothing technique.

The caption read, “Thanks Cape Town for another impactful and memorable day! A few more highlights of this very special visit with Archbishop Desmond Tutu.”

At the time, Prince Harry and Markle shared rare details about Archie’s personality and milestones. “He constantly wants to stand,” the prince said, according to People. Markle added, “He’s an old soul!”

Archie even showed a liking to Thandeka, who said: “You like me best, yes! Oh, you like the ladies better, yeah.” To which Markle responded, “He likes to flirt.”

We needed this walk down memory lane.
