Meghan Markle Makes Big Announcement in New Instagram Video

I'm already counting down the days to Meghan Markle's highly-anticipated Netflix series, With Love, Meghan. (FYI, it drops in just two weeks.) But this isn't the only exciting endeavor that royal fans can look forward to.

On Instagram this week, the duchess released a video of herself sharing a huge life update while offering fans a rare glimpse of her gorgeous Montecito garden—and she got a little help from her husband, Prince Harry, who can be heard saying "It's recording" before Markle begins to speak. In the video, the Suits alum appears in a casual white shirt and jeans as she announces the launch of her new brand, As Ever, in partnership with Netflix.

In the video, she says, "Cat's out of the bag…I'm shocked we've kept this a secret for so long. In two weeks, my show's coming out, which I'm so excited for...And also, my business—which I think there's been a lot of curiosity about."

The proud mom of two explained that she initially went with the name "American Riviera," inspired by her hometown. However, she had a change of heart and opted to rebrand the line, especially when Netflix entered the picture. She added, "Netflix came on, not just as my partner in the show, but as my partner in my business—which was huge."

Markle then teased a few more details about her new brand, noting that fans can look forward to several products, including her fruit preserves. She captioned the video, "I’m thrilled to introduce you to As Ever—a brand that I created and have poured my heart into. ‘As ever’ means ‘as it’s always been’ or some even say ‘in the same way as always’. If you’ve followed along since my days of creating The Tig, you’ll know this couldn’t be truer for me."

She continued, "This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish—food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the everyday. I will keep sharing behind-the-scenes tidbits with you here as we ramp up to launch, and I can’t wait for you to get your hands on everything we’ve been creating. Sending lots of love."
