Get Ready to Fall in Love (Again) with the Mayo Singing Doctors

Last month, two Mayo Clinic doctors posted a now-viral video of themselves singing Mike Yung’s “Alright.” And now they’re taking over The Ellen DeGeneres Show in this swoon-worthy clip.

Orthopedic surgery residents Dr. Elvis Francois and Dr. William Robinson appeared on today’s episode to discuss the popular video, which now has more than 2 million views on Facebook (casual), and all we have to say is… Encore, encore, encore!

In the clip, DeGeneres presses the doctors on why they filmed themselves singing, which prompts Robinson to reveal that they did it with the daytime host’s “be kind” motto in mind.

After realizing they had a joint passion for music, he and Francois began performing to bring comfort to the kids in the Rochester, Minnesota-based hospital, including one young patient, Lila, who is (admittedly) underwhelmed with their musical abilities.

In true Ellen form, DeGeneres goes on to ask the doctors to re-create the iconic video before sending them off with one-of-a-kind “An Ellen a Day Keeps the Doctor Away” lab coats (natch).

We’ll take a Grey’s Anatomy serenade any day.
