Margot Robbie looked like a real-life Barbie (again) during her latest public appearance.
Over the weekend, the 33-year-old actress attended the 2024 BAFTA Film Awards at The Royal Festival Hall in London. Robbie wore a stunning black and pink gown by Giorgio Armani Privé, which paid tribute to the Barbie movie.
The custom gown featured panels of black velvet surrounding a strip of pale pink silk, along with a black bustier-style sweetheart neckline. Robbie accessorized the look with black opera gloves and diamond earrings by Lorraine Schwartz. She styled her hair in a soft updo and opted for natural makeup, including a soft pink eyeshadow and matte lip.
Robbie was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role, which went home with Emma Stone for Poor Things. Prior to the awards show, the actress posed for photos with her husband, Tom Ackerley, who wore a classic black tux with a bow tie. (FYI, Ackerley served as a producer on the Greta Gerwig-directed Barbie movie.)
This isn’t the first time that Robbie has channeled the Mattel doll at an awards show. At the Critics’ Choice Awards, the actress wore a Barbie-esque gown by Balmain, which featured a rose off-the-shoulder detail.
She also replicated the 1977 SuperStar version of the doll at the 2024 Golden Globes, where she sported a sparkly pink dress by Giorgio Armani. At the Gotham Awards, Robbie rocked an all-black ensemble that featured a strapless gown paired with a sheer cape.
These Barbie references will never get old.
