The video shows a time-lapse of the makeup team working their magic with prosthetics on Moore’s face and neck. The slideshow also features a photo of the actress sporting a black eye, followed by an “After” pic of old Rebecca.
She captioned the post, “Just another reminder that our hair and makeup department on #thisisus is the best in the biz. They are masterful and simply put, as actors we wouldn’t be able to do our job without their artistry (along with the rest of our remarkable crew). Thank you @zoehaymakeup, @michaelpreitzhair, @ehmakeupartist, @luis_garcia_lixtli, @heatherplott, @brittanimcneal and the rest of the team who take us all through every decade and age.”
Moore went on to thank prosthetic makeup designer Stephen Bettles, adding, “Especially shoutout to @steviebfx for his prosthetic appliances (and application for Future Rebecca) that bring me from 34 to 68 and now into my 80s.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Moore transform. Back in July 2018, the This Is Us star broke down her after-filming routine, which included removing her facial prosthetics.
Some things you just can’t unsee.
