Looks like actress Mandy Moore is assembling a “Big Three” of her own. (This Is Us fans, rise!)
Earlier this morning, the This Is Us alum, 40, announced that she is expecting a third child with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, on Instagram. In a brand-new photo shared on her account, her two boys, Augustus “Gus,” 3, and Oscar aka “Ozzie,” 1, can be seen walking and holding hands. Gus is wearing a shirt that says “Big” while Ozzie is sporting a similar white shirt that reads “Middle.”
Not only did the Tangled star confirm that she is expecting her third child, but she also revealed the gender of the baby. While referencing “The Big Three” siblings from NBC’s This Is Us, Moore wrote in the caption, “Sometimes life imitates art. The third in our own Big Three [is] coming soon. Can’t wait for these boys to have a baby sister.”
Her fans flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages. While acknowledging the This Is Us reference, one person wrote, “The Big 3 [crying emoji] It really was meant to be.” Sharing the same sentiment, another person said, “OMG congrats!!!!!!!! 3 is the best [heart-eye emoji].” And if that weren’t enough, Moore’s former This Is Us co-star, Chrissy Metz, commented, “Mannnnndyyyyyy!!! Awwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! Congratulations!!! [pink heart emoji].”
Back in March 2023, Moore sat down with E! News and shared how she wanted to continue growing her family. When asked about her desire to have more children, the A Walk to Remember actress said, “Truth be told, I haven't shut the door on a larger family.”
She continued, “I don't know what my husband is thinking. I know right now, he's sort of like, 'Whaaat? That's crazy! It's so hard.' And it is. It's so hard. It's non-stop, all hands on deck right now. So maybe, perhaps. but I don't know.”
