There Are So Many Celebs Hidden in Mandy Moore’s New Music Video (& a Surprise Cameo from Her Son)

Just because This Is Us is ending, doesn't mean that Mandy Moore is going to slow down any time soon. The 37-year-old actress is gearing up for the release of her new album, In Real Life, and she just shared a video for the LP's title track, which features all kinds of celebrity cameos.

Not only does the visual include a small This Is Us reunion—with appearances from Moore's co-stars like Chrissy Metz, Susan Kelechi Watson, Sterling K. Brown, Chris Sullivan, Justin Hartley and Jon Huertas—but it also features guests like Hilary Duff, Wilmer Valderrama, Tess Holiday, Skylar Astin and even Moore's frequent hairstylist, Ashley Streicher.

But, perhaps the best part of the clip is the inclusion of home videos that star Moore's husband, Taylor Dawes Goldsmith, as well as the pair's one-year-old son, Gus. While Moore has given rare glimpses of her son in the past, the music video offers footage of the toddler eating at his high chair, reading books with his parents, strumming a ukulele and so much more.

Moore discussed the creation process behind “In Real Life” in a statement from Shore Fire Media, where she said, “I started writing this song while I was still pregnant with my son Gus, but didn’t end up finishing it until after he arrived. In a way it speaks to every cliché about becoming a parent: all the lights get turned on, everything crystallizes in a way that you never could have imagined.”

She continued, “Before Gus was born, my life was completely about me, and not necessarily even in a selfish sense—you just put one foot in front of the other and make your way through the world, and hopefully try to be the best version of yourself. But then this person enters the equation, and all that gets turned on its head. I wanted to write something that distills all that down, and also acknowledges that this is the most important role that I’ll ever play in my life.”

Moore's new album, In Real Life, will be out on May 13, and she will support the album with her first tour in over a decade, starting in June.

In the meantime, we'll be playing this star-studded video on repeat.
