Mandy Moore Shares Rare Baby Photo of Her Husband and Points Out Similarity to Son Gus

Ever since Mandy Moore gave birth to her baby boy, August “Gus” Harrison, last February, we can't get enough of the photos that she's shared of him to her Instagram account. But now, Moore decided to give her followers a special treat by pulling out a rare baby photo of her husband, Taylor Dawes Goldsmith.

The This Is Us actress posted the throwback to her Instagram Story, where she wrote, “This is baby @taylordawesgoldsmith. Or is it.......” In the snap, a small Goldsmith is seen standing on a staircase in diapers, smiling at the camera as he looks through the slats on the railing. At the bottom of the photo, Moore added, “My husband and my son are the same person.”

We can certainly see the resemblance between a young Goldsmith and his son, thanks to a series of photos that Moore posted last week on Mother's Day.

In this slideshow, we get a full glimpse of the pair's one-year-old, and the resemblance between him and his dad as a baby is uncanny. Moore captioned the carousel with a message directed to Gus, writing, “Being your mom is nothing short of the most rewarding and challenging job I’ll ever have. I savor all of it because you are the greatest, Goose, AND it keeps getting better (as everyone told us).”

Moore and Goldsmith have been together since 2015 and they tied the knot in Los Angeles in November of 2018. Gus is their first child.

Now we need Moore to share some of her own baby photos so we can compare the two.
