Another royal wedding took place over the weekend, and I must admit, it nearly went unnoticed.

Maddison May Brudenell (Prince William’s distant cousin) has tied the knot with her beau, Bret Kapetanov, in an intimate ceremony. According to Hello! magazine, the ceremony took place at St Mary the Virgin, a historic church that was built in the 15th-century.

Brudenell looked stunning in a white gown that featured a sheer neckline and A-line bodice. She completed the look with a tiara that complemented her chic hairstyle.

In addition to her 2-month-old son Michael, Brudenell included her three children from a previous marriage—Daphne (7), Phebe (5) and Moses (3)—who served as the flower girls and page boys.

Brudenell is the granddaughter of Lady Pamela Hicks, making her a third cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry. Hicks not only acted as a lady-in-waiting for Queen Elizabeth II, but she also served as a bridesmaid in the late monarch’s wedding to Prince Philip

Hicks revealed that her childhood was spent playing games with the queen and her sister, Princess Margaret. “My father was a second cousin of George VI, and myself, Patricia, the Queen and Princess Margaret played together as children from a young age—ropes around our waist, galloping through the grounds of my parents' home,” she told the mag. “Someone was the rider, someone else the horse. The queen was very serious as a child. Margaret was rather more mischievous.”

Congratulations to the newlyweds!
