1. What Is 'love Hard' About?
The movie centers on a girl from L.A. who desperately wants to find love. When she turns to her dating app, she falls for an East Coast guy who seems perfect. But when she surprises him with an in-person visit, she realizes that she's been catfished. To add insult to injury, she also learns that the guy he impersonated actually lives in her town. Thankfully, there's hope when the imposter offers to set her up with her true love interest, but he'll only do this if she pretends to be his girlfriend for a few days. Yikes.
2. When Was 'love Hard' Released On Netflix?
The film was first announced in the summer of 2020, and was officially released on November 5, 2021. After just three days on the platform it quickly landed the top spot on Netflix’s most-watched movies list. (We’re not surprised, considering it received a 97 percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.) Watch the trailer above.
3. Who Stars In The Movie?
Nina Dobrev, who's best known for her work on The Vampire Diaries, stars as the lead role of Natlaie. Meanwhile, Jimmy O. Yang (from Crazy Rich Asians) plays the trickster, Josh, and Darren Barnett stars as the true love interest, Tag. Darren Barnet also makes an appearance.
