Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos’s daughter, Lola, is showing support for her parents’ latest endeavor: Live with Kelly and Mark.
This week, Consuelos officially replaced Ryan Seacrest as Ripa’s co-host on the popular talk show. In honor of the special occasion, the couple’s 21-year-old daughter attended the live taping to cheer them on.
Ripa posted a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram, featuring herself and Consuelos taking a selfie in front of the studio audience. It didn’t take long for us to realize that Lola is sitting in the front row.
“First day. First show. First selfie,” the caption read. “So the adventure begins!”
Ripa shared another slideshow on Instagram featuring more behind-the-scenes photos. The first picture shows the co-hosts posing with Lola and psychic Char Margolis. (You know, the one who predicted that Ripa was pregnant with Lola back in 2000.) It’s followed by a selfie of Ripa and Consuelos, along with BTS pics of musician Chilli.
“@instasuelos’ first day was so fun!” Ripa captioned the post. She even added two hashtags referencing their characters on All My Children: “#KellyandMark #HayleyandMateo Forever.”
Back in February, Seacrest announced that he’s leaving Live with Kelly & Ryan after six successful seasons. “Working alongside Kelly over the past six years has been a dream job and one of the highlights of my career,” he said. “She has been an amazing partner, friend, and confidant, and although we will always be a part of each other’s lives, I will miss our mornings together.”
Shortly after, Consuelos confirmed that he’s replacing the American Idol personality to co-host the talk show alongside his wife.
Talk about a family affair.
