We Just Got a View of the ‘Live with Kelly and Mark’ Set That We Hardly Ever Get to See

Live with Kelly and Mark has been going through some major changes recently, most notably the replacement of Ryan Seacrest, 48, with Mark Consuelos, 52. However, we've also been getting a few unusual peeks at the show, including this rare glimpse that a fan posted of the audience.

Guest James T. Suozzi attended the show and shared a photo to his Instagram Story, which co-host Kelly Ripa, 52, then posted to her own Story. In the snap, we see Ripa standing in front of the live studio audience, and Suozzi wrote, “Chatting with @kellyripa during commercial break. Love her.”

While our eyes (and the cameras) are usually focused on Kelly and Mark, as well as their celebrity guests, it's not often that we see the audience members. And this isn't the first time that we've gotten a glimpse of this part of the set.

In mid-April, when Consuelos officially joined the show as co-host, his wife posted a selfie that they took in front of the studio audience. There was a special reason for this, because not only was it Consuelos's first show, but the pair's daughter, Lola, 21, was also one of the visitors in the audience.

“First day. First show. First selfie,” Ripa wrote. “So the adventure begins!”

Ripa has been a part of the daytime talk show since 2001, when she joined host Regis Philbin and the show became Live! with Regis and Kelly. Then from 2012 to 2016, Ripa co-hosted with Michael Strahan, before Seacrest signed on in 2017. Now, the longtime host gets to work alongside her husband.

It was announced that Consuelos would be joining the team back in February. Ripa noted the transition in an Instagram post, where she wrote: “OK NOW we’re empty nesters. When your friends become work mates become family. Congratulations @ryanseacrest on surviving six winters in NYC! I’m proud of you and am forever in your corner. And @instasuelos welcome home, or to the contractual obligation phase of our relationship.”
