Laverne Cox is rocking an oldie (but a goodie) on the 75th annual Emmy Awards red carpet.

Before hosting E! Live from the Red Carpet, the Orange Is the New Black alum walked the red carpet herself and, as expected, she did not disappoint in the fashion department. The 51-year-old actress stunned in a vintage 1989 Thierry Mugler Couture from Tab Vintage. While wearing her honey blonde locks in a high pony, Cox accessorized her head-turning ensemble with Dena Kemp & Rahaminov Diamonds jewelry.

Before hitting the Emmys red carpet, Cox shared a video of herself prepping for the big night on Instagram. The talented actress starts the video by teasing her look for the night. “It is a strapless dress [and] it will be braless,” she says with a smile. “I never do this. I never bring you behind the scenes.” The caption reads, “Rehearsal for ##liveFromE. Tune in tomorrow.”

Cox has returned to host the E! Live from the Red Carpet for the 75th annual Emmy Awards. In April 2022, the Inventing Anna actress sat down with The New York Times and discussed what she enjoys the most about doing celeb interviews on the red carpet.

When asked how she approaches these kinds of interviews, she said, “I’m trying to have a meaningful connection, and, whatever they want to say about their work or about the world, giving them that space and platform to do it while connecting as authentically as possible. When I’ve been on the other side when I feel a chemistry and connection with the person who’s interviewing me, I feel like the interview goes so much better.”

Stunning as always, Laverne.
