Stop the royal presses because Lady Kitty Spencer (AKA Princess Diana’s niece) is now the proud mom of a baby girl.

On Mother’s Day in the U.K. (which fell on Sunday, March 10), Lady Kitty Spencer—who is the eldest daughter of Diana’s younger brother, Charles Spencer—announced on Instagram that she welcomed her first child.

Along with a video montage that features not one, but four photos of the new mom holding her daughter, Lady Kitty wrote in the caption, “It’s the joy of my life to be your mummy, little one. I love you unconditionally [white heart emoji] Happy Mother’s Day to those who celebrate today.”

Her followers flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages, including her younger sister Lady Amelia Spencer, who wrote, “The most perfect angel in the world.” Meanwhile, Lady Amelia’s twin sister, Lady Eliza Spencer, also commented, “My perfect little Niece.”

This baby announcement may come as a surprise to her followers (as well as royal fans) because she never mentioned her daughter until now, according to Marie Claire.

This exciting news comes three years after Lady Kitty tied the knot with her husband, Michael Lewis, 65. In July 2021, the couple got married at the Villa Aldobrandini country mansion in Frascati, Italy. For her big day, the British fashion model wore a gorgeous lace wedding gown designed by Dolce & Gabbana, which she shared on her personal IG account.

At the time, she wrote in the caption, “Thank you from the bottom of my heart Domenico & Stefano for creating a gown beyond my wildest dreams for the most important day of my life. There are no words that could ever express my gratitude to @dolcegabbana.”

Congratulations, Lady Kitty Spencer and Michael Lewis!
