Stylish Royal Alert: Lady Amelia Windsor Is Prince Harry's Cousin, and She's Très Très Chic

Is it weird to envy a 22-year-old’s style? We don’t think so, especially when she’s a member of the royal family and one of the most fashionable young ladies on either side of the pond. Introducing: Lady Amelia Windsor (nickname: Mel), Prince William and Harry’s third cousin.

Quick history lesson: Amelia’s grandfather is Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, who is first cousin to Queen Elizabeth. The queen’s dad and Prince Edward’s dad were brothers, and their father was King George V.

But besides being 38th in line to the throne (which, that’s something), she’s a model (having appeared on the cover of Tatler and Vogue Japan and having walked in Milan Fashion Week…NBD) and has worked for little-known names like Chanel, Bulgari and Azzedine Alaïa. And, yes, she has an Instagram account. Here, our favorite things about the young royal (along with some of our favorite looks).

She appeared on Vanity Fair’s International Best Dressed List last year and currently studies French and Italian at the University of Edinburgh, which may explain Lady Amelia’s certain je ne sais quoi.

She spent a year abroad in Paris and Rome, and lots of time in Spain (ugh, why can't we be 38th in line to the throne?!).

She walked the runway for her first show at Dolce & Gabbana last February and then again in September.

She worked on a shoe collaboration with British designer Penelope Chilvers (a fave of both Pippa and Kate Middleton).

She’s mastered the art of posing…We’re calling this one the “rebel royal,” FYI.

She loves patterns even more than Meghan Markle.

And, last but not least, she has a really cute puppy. (And the Duchess of Sussex can’t keep both of hers? So not fair!)
