Princess Diana’s Niece Posts Honeymoon Pics—& We Can Totally See the Family Resemblance

After countless royal family throwback pics and never-before-seen snaps, we’ve (a) learned that the royal family genes are really strong and (b) begun to wonder what other distant royal relatives share an uncanny resemblance.

Recently, Princess Diana’s niece, Lady Amelia Spencer, 30, shared gorgeous honeymoon photos taken with her husband, Greg Mallett, 33. As far as similarities go, the young royal (who is the daughter of Diana’s younger brother, Charles Spencer) definitely looks a lot like her late aunt, aka the former Princess of Wales.

Yesterday on Instagram, Amelia Spencer posted a photo slideshow that captured memorable moments from their honeymoon vacation in Coco Bodu Hithi, Maldives. (FYI, the newly married couple tied the knot in a romantic ceremony in South Africa last month.) 

The first pic shows the newlyweds sharing a romantic kiss on the beach. And it didn’t take long for royal fans to notice the striking family resemblance (particularly when compared with the 1990 beach pic of Diana below).

Amelia Spencer wrote in the caption, “The first few days of our magical honeymoon [vacation emojis] @coco_resorts #cocomoments.”
