Members of the royal family have become accustomed to wearing jewelry pieces or articles of clothing that once belonged to another royal relative. For example, Kate Middleton honored the late Princess Diana by wearing her emerald green necklace to an event. Even Camilla Parker Bowles donned a dazzling diamond tiara that was previously worn by Queen Elizabeth II.
Now, King Charles has joined the fun by sporting a fashion piece that once belonged to his late father, Prince Philip. While attending a Palm Sunday service held in Gloucestershire, the monarch was spotted wearing a camel wool coat with a navy blue shirt and a striped red tie.
The photo (shared by Hello! Magazine) shows King Charles smiling at royal fans and donning the coat with a pair of chestnut-colored boots. As it turns out, the fashion item once belonged to his late father, who previously wore the wool coat on several occasions. (FYI, the former Duke of Edinburgh sadly passed away in 2021 at the age of 99.)
