King Charles is in good spirits, thanks to the plethora of get well wishes he’s received from people around the world.

The royal family recently shared a video on their official X (formerly Twitter) account. The clip features the monarch, 75, sorting through a pile of get well cards that were sent to the palace in light of the king’s cancer diagnosis

The clip begins with King Charles holding a large card that says, “At least you don’t have to wear a cone.” The correspondence team proceeds to dump a bag full of envelopes on the table, including more than 7,000 letters and cards.

Some of the messages share wishes for a speedy recovery, while others feature personal stories about cancer diagnoses and recoveries. “Chin up, chest out, remain positive and don’t let it get you down. Trust me, it works, but the main thing is family,” one reads. Another says, “Never give up. Be brave. Don’t push your limits. Get Well Soon.”

King Charles smiles as he browses through the mound of cards. “Such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement,” he says.

The caption read, “The King has had a chance to read a wide selection of the thousands of Get Well cards and letters that have been sent to Buckingham Palace since his diagnosis.”

It continued, “Thank you to all those who have written in.”

Earlier this month, Buckingham Palace released a statement announcing that the monarch is undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with cancer. The palace confirmed the news on Instagram, writing, “During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.”

Sending good vibes to King Charles (and the entire royal family).
