Kim Cattrall Had One Demand When She Agreed to Return as Samantha in ‘And Just Like That…’

And just like that…Samantha is back.

Kim Cattrall, who notably played Samantha in the original Sex and the City series, finally made her long-awaited return in the season two finale of And Just Like That, which just debuted today. Fans of the show were beyond shocked when news leaked that the 67-year-old actress was returning to make a brief cameo in the reboot, given how she was against coming back to the franchise in the past. So, what made her change her mind?

News of Cattrall’s return to And Just Like That… started circulating the internet earlier this year. Per an exclusive report by Variety, Cattrall’s character was slated to appear only in one scene that involves a phone conversation between Samanta and Carrie (played by Sarah Jessica Parker). 

And that’s exactly what happened. In the first few minutes of the season two finale, fans had a chance to see Samantha talk to Carrie on the phone from the back of a taxi cab heading to a flight. Much to viewers’ delight, Samantha is also spotted wearing one of her signature colors in a cherry red dress.
