Kelly Rowland Shares Her First Impression of Meghan Markle After Meeting Her at a Beyoncé Concert

"She was royal before she was in that family," Rowland said. "I think that we are royalty before anything. And we have to hold ourselves in that regard as humans, as people."

Rowland's observations are right in line with what the duchess has revealed about her own personality—both before and after her relationship with Prince Harry.
