Kelly Ripa Celebrates Son Michael’s Birthday with Montage of Rare Photos

Kelly Ripa, 52, may be a successful TV personality, but she's a doting mother above all else. The Live with Kelly and Mark co-host just celebrated her eldest son, Michael, on his 26th birthday by posting a video montage of rare family photos featuring the birthday boy.

“26 years ago he rocked our world and has been rockin it ever since!” Ripa wrote in her caption. “Happy birthday @michael.consuelos we love you.”

The slideshow included all kinds of rare snaps of the Riverdale star, spanning from his baby days all the way to his college years at NYU.

In response to the thoughtful video, Michael showed his appreciation in the comments section with a comical note that said, “Thanks for life, mom! [heart emoji].” He also made a post on his own account, on which he wrote, “Grateful for my friends and family, both new and old. You guys are the best birthday present ever.”

If there was one thing that was impossible to ignore in Ripa's post, it was how closely Michael resembles his dad, Mark Consuelos, 52. A few of the photos showed a young Mark holding Michael as a baby, and when the time jumps forward and we see Michael as an adult, it's tough to distinguish between the two.

Speaking of Michael's dad, the new co-host of Live with Kelly and Mark also celebrated the 26-year-old on social media. Mark pulled out a sepia-toned throwback of Michael, as seen above. The caption read, “Happy 26th Birthday @michael.consuelos…we love you Michael!!!”

Michael is the eldest of the pair's three children. The couple also have a 21-year-old daughter named Lola and a younger son, Joaquin, 20.

We often get glimpses of the family on Ripa's Instagram, like this past Mother's Day, when the couple's three kids recreated an iconic photo from their childhood.
