Kelly Ripa just shared a series of never-before-seen family photos, and whoa, she looks exactly like her mom, Esther.
Yesterday, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host, 49, posted a slideshow on Instagram that proves good looks run in the family.
Kelly Ripa Looks Just Like Her Mom in New Throwback Photos

The first is a throwback photo of Esther wearing a white caftan, followed by current pics of Ripa rocking similar ensembles. She captioned the post, “Here’s the original kaftan/caftan wearer. Mom circa 1975, followed by me in Bahamas 2018 and Hawaii 2012. We rock a Roper! #kaftan #caftan.”
If you look closely, you’ll notice that Ripa and her mom could practically pass as sisters. Not only do they have the same exact smile, hair and eyes, but they also have a similar wardrobe aesthetic. (Caftans FTW.)
This isn’t the first time Ripa has shared candid family pictures on Instagram. In fact, she’s been using this time of social distancing to break into the old photo albums. Earlier this month, the actress celebrated her 24th wedding anniversary with her husband, Mark Consuelos, by debuting dozens of rare photos on social media featuring their three children, Michael (22), Lola (18) and Joaquin (17).
Ripa also posted a throwback photo of her parents and in-laws, writing, “Cannot wait to hug these four. (Mother in law. Mom. Dad. Father in law) Will hug in any order or first come first serve…circa 2005.”
Talk about a fantastic gene pool.
