On Instagram, the 25-year-old actor shared a mysterious snapshot of himself on the set of a television show or movie. In the BTS snap, Michael is squatting on a chair while scrolling on his cell phone.

The project in question remains a mystery, but it appears the young actor will be taking on a brand new role. In the caption, he wrote, “The (associate) Producer.”

So many of his followers flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages. One person wrote, “Congrats young man,” with a thumbs-up emoji. Another person sent an encouraging sentiment, writing, “Have fun, do what you do best.”

The aspiring actor and producer recently worked with both of his parents on the Lifetime movie, Let’s Get Physical. He starred alongside Jenna Dewan in the film, who played a small town fitness instructor who secretly runs a prostitution ring.

While sitting down with Entertainment Tonight, he opened up about what it was like working with his parents (who served as executive producers). When asked about the overall experience, Michael said, “It’s not just on this, my parents are my bosses in life. There’s pluses, obviously, there’s ease. Some things are easier and some things are a lot harder. You always [have to] bring your A-game.”

He continued, “I wasn’t much of a sports guy growing up, [but] when I was at a cross country meet and my parents were around I’m like, ‘I have to really bring it because they're watching.’ They had a big hand in this, so I wanted to make sure I did a really good job because they were watching. I think it was a good motivator.”

Congratulations on your new big gig, Michael!
