Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos Share Pic from Bed & Fans Want to Know Who Took the Photo

Before Mark Consuelos, 52, made his long-awaited hosting debut on the brand-new Live with Kelly and Mark this morning, the actor and his wife, Kelly Ripa, 52, did some prep work prior to the big day—which involved the two of them getting well-deserved rest in bed (along with their two pups). However, after they shared their “hosting work in progress” pic on Instagram, fans couldn’t help but wonder: Who took the photo?

In the photo posted on their Instagram pages yesterday, Ripa and Consuelos are sound asleep in bed while wearing matching white shirts. The Live Wire author wrote in the caption, “Severe prep work in progress.”

Even the Riverdale alum joked about their “severe work prep” photo in the comments section, where he wrote, “That was a clip from our Only Fans feed.” (Come again, Mark?!)

While fans couldn’t get over how cozy the couple looked in the bed, some really wanted to know who captured the bedroom snap on camera. One person commented, “Wait. Who took this picture?!?” along with the surprised eye emoji. 

We're assuming the secret photographer is one of three possible culprits: their children, Michael (25), Lola (21) or Joaquin (20). It’s hard to tell who out of the three of them could’ve snapped the photo, but we’ve got our suspicions.

Today, Consuelos officially took over for former Live co-host Ryan Seacrest, who filmed his final episode this past Friday. Back in February, Seacrest announced that he would be leaving the daytime talk show after hosting for six seasons. 

After the announcement, Consuelos shared a touching goodbye message to the American Idol host and his dear friend. Along with a photo of himself, Seacrest and Ripa dressed in costume on a past episode of Live, he wrote in the caption: “Congrats on your next chapter @ryanseacrest. I love you like a brother. I know I have some big shoes to fill…well actually they’re only a size 9, but you know what I mean.”
