Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos just jetted off to London, England, but they're not there to see Buckingham Palace. No, in fact, the couple actually went to visit their daughter, Lola, 21, who is currently studying abroad in the city.
Ripa documented the reunion on her Instagram Story, where she started out with a picture of herself hugging her daughter, and she captioned it, “Missed my girl more than I can describe @theyoungestyung.”
Although Lola is a rising junior at New York University, the music student is currently spending time abroad in London. Ripa commented on her daughter's overseas experience back in June during an episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan, when she said, “It is Lola Consuelos's 21st birthday. We are waiting for her to get back—she's in Europe right now. Yes, poor Lola.”
In addition to this photo of the mom and daughter embracing, Ripa also posted a photo of Lola hugging her father. To add to her message about missing her middle child, Ripa wrote, “So did @instasuelos.”
After these initial snaps, Ripa posted pics to her Story of the 21-year-old leading them around the city and acting as their tour guide. In a few of the photos, the mom and daughter were seen walking arm-in-arm and holding shopping bags.
Then, it appears the trio got dinner together, because Ripa posted a photo of her and Consuelos seated together at a table, and she wrote, “Mom and dad with jet lag.” She also added a London sticker to the image.
Not only did Lola show her parents around the city, but she also showed support for her mom by posing with her new memoir, Live Wire.
In one pic, Lola smiled while holding up the book. In another, Ripa showed her reading through the pages and making a surprised face, and the Live host jokingly captioned the photo, “Juicy.”
We're glad Kelly and Mark are getting some quality time with their daughter.
