Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Film a ‘Scene From the Marital Bed’ in Promotion of Ripa’s New Memoir

Kelly Ripa just continues to get us more and more excited for her upcoming memoir, Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories. While the LIVE with Kelly and Ryan host's first-ever book won't officially hit shelves until September 27, Ripa made the wait less arduous by posting a new video with her hubby, Mark Consuelos, in which they discussed her upcoming book tour from their bed. “Scenes from the marital bed, book tour edition!” Ripa cheekily wrote in the caption.

Ripa also tagged the celebs who will be joining her on her Live Wire tour, writing, “Grab your friends and I’ll grab mine (@bethennyfrankel @andersoncooper @mrjerryoc @justinasylvester plus @instasuelos [heart emoji]) and I will see you in NJ, NYC, Long Island, Ann Arbor, Chicago, Louisville and virtually later this month! Get your tickets at the link in my bio.”

“My book tour is less than two weeks away!” Ripa tells Consuelos in the clip, to which he replies, “And we're kicking it off...in [Kelly's] home state—New Jersey.”

Ripa then teased what fans can expect on the upcoming outings. “It's gonna be a lot of laughs, it's gonna be a little bit, uh, dirty,” she said. “This is not the morning show...this is a little dishy.”

Consuelos offered even more tantalizing tidbits, calling the book “unfiltered” and saying, “The book is dishy and unfiltered...it really is.” He also joked, “I've been getting like smiles and little head nods from housewives on the streets here in New York.”

“Well, you're welcome for that,” Ripa joked.

Ripa concluded, “We'll get into that and other stories that you may find relevant, pertinent, titillating...and it's gonna be a good night out and a little bit of a break from reality.”

The Live Wire tour will begin at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, New Jersey on September 28, where Ripa will be joined by Consuelos.

She will then stop at the Symphony Space in New York City on September 29 with Anderson Cooper, followed by a visit to the Theatre at Westbury in Long Island on September 30 with Bethenny Frankel.

Recently, she also added stops at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on October 7 (with Consuelos), the Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture in Chicago, Illinois, on October 8 (with Jerry O'Connell) and the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts in Louisville, Kentucky, on October 9 (with Justin Sylvester).

Tickets for Ripa's book tour can be booked here, and you can pre-order the talk show host's memoir at Amazon.

We'll be counting down the days.
