They nailed it

It seems that Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, are giving Heidi Klum a run for her money when it comes to the best celebrity Halloween costume of 2024.

Today, the co-hosts debuted their 2024 Halloween costumes on the annual Live with Kelly and Mark spooky special, aptly titled “Only Halloween in the Building.” Ripa, 54, and Consuelos, 53, also shared a slideshow of photos on Instagram to document this year’s themes, which include everything from Deadpool to Inside Out (and a whole lot of Lady Gaga).

The slideshow began with a photo of Ripa and Consuelos dressed as Deadpool, and it even featured a cameo by former NSYNC member Joey Fatone. Next, they channeled Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix from Joker: Folie à Deux by dressing up as Harley Quinn and Joker.

Of course, they honored Only Murders in the Building (which inspired the episode’s title), along with other timely movies (like Inside Out 2 and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice).

However, it was their tribute to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars that really sold me. Ripa and Consuelos dressed up as the musicians in their “Die with a Smile” music video.

This isn’t the first year the hosts have gone all out for Halloween. Last year, Ripa and Consuelos debuted their costumes in a similar fashion, which included a dedicated episode of Live and multiple Instagram posts.

From The White Lotus to Barbie, the duo drew inspiration from current pop culture events. They even paid tribute to Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. I must say, they look awfully dapper in Kansas City Chiefs red.

These never get old.
