From Julianne Hough to Whoopi Goldberg, celebrities didn't hold back on bringing their fashion A-game to the 2025 Oscar Awards. Even Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos stole my attention when they walked the red carpet.
Tonight, the Live with Kelly and Mark co-stars attended the 97th annual Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Ripa was wearing a burnt orange-colored dress, which featured a bandage-style bodice and asymmetrical neckline that wrapped around her neck and fell down her back to create a cape-like train. Consuelos was sporting a classic black suit, complete with a bow tie.
Of course, neither Ripa nor Consuelos are nominated for an Oscar Award. However, they are set to host their annual “After the Oscars Show” on tomorrow’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark.
The episode will feature footage from tonight, including never-before-seen interviews with the winners moments after they walk off stage, where Ripa and Consuelos will be waiting in the wings. According to ABC, the duo will “be in their same cubbyhole backstage but this time with a bigger TV.”
Consuelos revealed that he’s most excited to see all the celebrities. “I’m always excited to meet so many people I’ve admired over the years, especially at the time when they’ve won something so massive and important,” he told the outlet. “Not everybody gets to experience that so it’s nice just to be around that.”
Ripa added, “We have no idea who's going to come back! We can’t hear, we can’t see and then suddenly the winner is right there standing in front of us.”
