Kelly Ripa’s Dress Was Too Short to Wear on Live TV

In the clip, Ripa explains the unexpected switcheroo, saying, “I had a lovely dress that I was supposed to wear, but when I sit down, it is so short.”

The Days of Our Lives alum also debunks any commando theories. “I’m wearing underpants, but nobody needs to see that,” she adds.

The Adam Lippes dress features quarter-length sleeves, a fitted silhouette and a cutout neckline. Ripa paired the outfit with yellow pumps by Gianvito Rossi and a studded butterfly belt by Gucci.

Ripa recently returned to the studio alongside her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, to resume normal production on Live with Kelly and Ryan. (The pair had been hosting virtual segments from their own homes due to the coronavirus pandemic.)

Although they had a few hiccups, Ripa and Seacrest’s pre-show banter proves that nothing has changed between the two co-hosts. (Well, excluding Ripa’s outfits.)
