Katy Perry’s 3-year-old daughter, Daisy, just made a public appearance (and according to E! News, it was her very first one). And dang, she’s growing up fast.
Over the weekend, the 39-year-old singer celebrated the closing night of her Las Vegas residency show, Katy Perry: PLAY. Perry gave a special shout-out to her daughter, who was dancing along in the audience.
At one point, the camera panned to show Daisy standing in the audience and wearing a large pair of pink headphones and a polka-dot dress. “Daisy, I love you so much,” Perry said. “You’re my best friend. I’m so glad you’re here.”
In another fan video, Perry praised Daisy’s dad, Orlando Bloom, for his unwavering support. “To my partner, Orlando, for being an incredible support system and an amazing father—I love you,” she said.
Perry continued, “I created this show after the birth of my daughter, Daisy Dove. When I met her, it was like all the love I was ever searching for finally showed up. She made me whole, and she healed me, and she showed me how to play again. So, this show is for everyone's inner child and for the hope that maybe if we could all see life through the eyes of a child, we would be free.”
Perry welcomed little Daisy back in August 2020. Although Daisy is Perry’s first child, Bloom also has a son, Flynn, with his ex Miranda Kerr.
