Katy Perry Turns Heads in Revealing Cut-Out Dress at Vogue World: Paris

It's no secret that cut-out designs are taking over the fashion world. For instance, multiple stars attended the 2024 Brit Awards in cut-out looks, like Ellie Goulding and Natasha Bedingfield. Then, Paris Hilton modeled her show-stopping cut-out Mugler gown on Instagram. And now, Katy Perry is joining the trend with a geometric cut-out dress.

The 39-year-old pop star made a surprise appearance on the runway at Vogue World: Paris, and her Noir Kei Ninomiya gown definitely stole the show. Vogue magazine shared footage of the former American Idol judge making her grand entrance and wrote, "Introducing @katyperry wearing geometric archival Noir Kei Ninomiya during her surprise appearance on the #VogueWorld Paris runway, immediately electrifying the Place Vendôme."

The black gown features geometric oval shapes and floral embellishments on the skirt. And to complete the look, she donned black heels. One fan commented, "So beautiful. So strong. Love it, love her, love the dress. This is art!!!!" Another added, "Glamorous queen."

Perry also shared a slideshow of the bold look and wrote, "VOGUE WORLD x WOMAN’S WORLD." A fan responded, "It's @katyperry's world and we're lucky to be living in it."

This year's show is the third in the Vogue World series. The magazine held its first event at New York Fashion Week in 2022, then held their second in London. At year's event, guests included Jared Leto, Anna Wintour, Cara Delevingne and Joey King.
