Her stylist, Allison Bornstein, shared details on Holmes’s outfit on Instagram, calling the frock “my ideal party dress” and adding, “Who doesn’t love polka dots and shoulder pads?” Bernstein also noted that Holmes carried the very well-priced Frame Les second cube bag ($295) and wore white Christian Louboutins with polka-dot detailing (similar, $775) for her evening out.
Although Holmes’s exact Michael Kors dress isn’t available, the designer recently dropped a similar version of the sassy little number: the V-neck polka-dot flared dress ($1,990).
In addition to her tips on where to get Holmes’s look, Bornstein also said that the actress’s hair and makeup were done by DJ Quintero and Genevieve Herr, respectively.
Lucky for us, Herr broke down exactly how she created Holmes’s dewy, copper-eyed look. Herr revealed on Instagram that she used, “Pestle and Mortar Cosmetics on her skin, moisturizer tint by Laura Mercier ($46), eye color by Suqqu UK ($66) and lip color Lancôme Drama Matte color Nude Essentiel ($32).”
We can’t wait to recreate this look.
