This past Sunday, Kate Middleton attended the 2023 Rugby World Cup, where she watched the English team face off against Fiji in the quarter-finals.
While at the match, the Princess of Wales, 41, rocked a white Zara double-breasted textured blazer featuring gold shiny buttons ($99) and paired the chic jacket with black trousers. But the last thing the royal mom of two expected was to have a twinning moment with someone else sitting in her row.
Princess Catherine (who is a patron of the Rugby Football Union) sat next to former rugby player Sir William Blackledge Beaumont and his wife, Lady Hilary Beaumont.
And it didn’t take long for royally-obsessed fans to see that both ladies were wearing the same blazer.
Princess Kate didn’t seem bothered by the fashion faux pas. According to Hello! Magazine, the Princess of Wales engaged in some friendly small talk with Beaumont during the match. When he asked the royal if Prince George enjoyed the rugby match on Saturday, Middleton responded, “He did, he loved it so much.”
On Saturday, October 14, Prince George attended the quarter-final game between Wales and Argentina with his dad, Prince William, 41.
During the game, the 10-year-old prince practically looked like his father’s mini-me as they sat together in the stands. And the pair sported coordinating blue suits and similar red ties.
If the Zara blazer is good enough for Princess Catherine (and Lady Beaumont), it’s good enough for us.
