Kate Middleton Was Asked By a Young Fan If She Was a Prince & Her Reaction Is Priceless

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal tour of Scotland continues. And during their recent outing in Orkney, Middleton had quite a funny interaction with a young fan.

On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to European Marine Energy Centre to learn about the town’s push for carbon zero and hydrogen power. After taking a boat ride at the facility, they met with schoolchildren who were patiently awaiting the couple.

During the event, the duchess took some time to speak with the students, including one who was a tad bit confused about her title. “Are you the Prince?" a young boy asked Middleton. Shaking her head, she replied, “I'm not the Prince. I'm the Duchess of Cambridge. Lots of people call me Catherine.”

After a few seconds, another child added, "She's a Princess!" to which the mother of three replied, “Are you? Are you a Princess? Aww, you look like one in your beautiful pink coat. It's very nice to meet you all. Have you been having a look at all the boats? It's very cool isn't it?” she continued per .

Today, the pair is visiting the Scottish town of St. Andrews, which is where they first met. (If you didn’t know, Middleton volunteered to model in a charity fashion show where Prince William was sitting in the front row and the rest is history.)

The royal couple spent some time land yachting and racing each other in the sand on West Sands Beach. Per Hello!, the duo reportedly even had a romantic date night yesterday before a full day of events.

Secret date nights and silly convos with kids? We couldn’t imagine a better royal tour.
