Kate Middleton’s Teal Coat Has Us Ready for Spring

It looks like Kate Middleton is gearing up for spring! The Duchess of Cambridge just stepped out in a beautiful teal coat that doesn't feel wintry at all.

On Wednesday, the mother of three made a surprise visit to LEYF—the London Early Years Foundation—Stockwell Gardens Nursery and Pre-school in support of her new survey about early childhood development.

For the event, the 38-year-old looked chic in a long teal coat from Jigsaw that's no longer available. Underneath, she wore a long-sleeved merino wool pullover featuring a lace collar by Sézane (that's currently sold out) and a simple pair of skinny black jeans. She topped off the entire look with her black Russell & Bromley mid zip Chelsea boots (which are still available online).

Per a post from Kensington Palace, Kate met with staff at the preschool to discuss the 5 Big Questions on the Under Fives initiative—a survey that aims to spark a UK-wide conversation on early childhood, asking everyone in the UK to have their say on raising the next generation. She even helped serve breakfast to the kids.

The duchess has been super busy with royal engagements in the last few weeks. Yesterday, she joined a creative workshop run by the National Portrait Gallery’s Hospital Programme at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital to observe how the arts support children’s health, well-being and happiness.

Keep up the great work, Kate (and keep the casual fashion coming).
