2023 was undoubtedly the year of striking royal portraits. From the haunting photo of Prince William standing alone at dawn to a stunning portrait of King Charles with his sister, Princess Anne, the British royal family graced our social media feeds with incredible (and awe-inducing) photography. And before the year ended, royally-obsessed fans were given one final gorgeous camera shot of the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton.
On December 25, 2023, Princess Catherine was photographed attending the annual Christmas service at Sandringham Church in Norfolk. The striking and intimate photo (snapped by photographer Stephen Pond) was shot from the back of the royal princess. While standing behind the king and queen, the royal mom of three strikes an elegant (and almost haunting) pose as she looks over to the side.
