Kate Middleton Did Her Signature Hair Move During Her Latest Public Appearance

I've seen this gesture before...

While Kate Middleton made her momentary return to the public eye for the Wimbledon men’s finals, one of her signature moves made a comeback as well.

This past weekend, the Princess of Wales, 42, attended the Wimbledon finals match with her 9-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte. The mother-daughter duo were photographed arriving at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London. Princess Catherine was captured on camera tucking a piece of hair behind her ear—a casual gesture that’s become something of a signature hair move for the royal. See below.

In another photo, the mother of three casually brushes her hair back with her hand.

And she did it again during the trophy presentation for Team Spain. As the princess flashes her signature smile to the crowd, she pushes her hair back behind her ear.

As we said before, Princess Catherine has done the gesture countless times. For example, while attending Wimbledon in July 2022, the royal princess was fixing a few flyaway hairs using the same gesture.

The Princess of Wales’s classic hair move even dates back to her first official visit to Cambridge in 2012. As she stood on the balcony of The Guildhall, she quickly adjusted her hair as it blew in the wind.

But Catherine isn't the only royal to use this hair tuck. In fact, the Princess of Wales’s oldest son, Prince George, emulated his mother’s signature move. Back in June, the 10-year-old prince attended the FA Cup final with his dad, Prince William. In a photo shared by a fan on X (formerly Twitter), the young royal was photographed briefly adjusting his hair by pushing it back with his fingers.

Looks like strong genes aren’t all that run in the family.
