Princess Charlotte has far more in common with her mom, Kate Middleton, than just her looks.
President of Rugby Football Union Says Kate Middleton & Princess Charlotte Have *This* in Common
This month, the Princess of Wales, 41, showed off her athleticism at the Maidenhead Rugby Club, where she participated in some drills before joining a scrimmage. She dressed the part in a baby blue jersey, navy joggers and white sneakers.
After the match, Nigel Gillingham (President of the Rugby Football Union) admitted that he was impressed by Princess Catherine’s skills. He revealed that the royal has been practicing rugby in the backyard with her three kids: Prince George (9), Princess Charlotte (8) and Prince Louis (5).
“She regularly plays rugby in the back garden with the children—she plays all sports with them,” Gillingham said (according to People magazine). He also confirmed that Princess Charlotte is taking after her mom, adding, “Apparently Charlotte is very much in her mold—very competitive as well.”
Steven Bough (chairman of Maidenhead Rugby Club) also commended the princess’s athleticism. “She’s obviously been practicing,” he said. “Her ball skills and passing skills are very good. She was there, blending in playing as one of the team. To be honest, I didn’t realize she was there half the time.”
Is there anything she can’t do?
