As if their appearance at Trooping the Colour weren’t enough, Kate Middleton and her family have now gifted royal fans with another look at the Waleses.
Today, in honor of Father’s Day, Prince William and Princess Catherine’s official Instagram account posted a brand-new photo taken by the princess herself. And the image features Will, George, Charlotte and Louis sharing an intimate family moment at the beach.
But perhaps the best part? The caption features a personal message from the three Wales children themselves. The message reads, “We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day.”
How do we know the message comes directly from the young princess and the two young princes? They signed the message with their personal initials, “G, C & L.”
As we mentioned, the three mini royals joined their parents yesterday at Trooping the Colour, a celebration in honor of the monarch’s birthday. There were flyovers, parades, balcony moments and, of course, funny faces from Louis. And most exciting of all, there was an appearance from Kate Middleton (looking incredible in white) for the first time since December.
Princess Catherine confirmed her attendance for this year’s Trooping the Colour with a surprise statement posted on her Instagram page. Along with a photo of the royal mom of three standing under a tree while surrounded by green foliage, she wrote, “I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet. I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal. Thank you so much for your continued understanding, and to all of you who have so bravely shared your stories with me.” The princess signed the note with her initial: “C.”
