It's been quite the busy month

December has been one for the royal books. I'm talking Kate Middleton and Prince William releasing their Christmas card, Will (once again) skipping a certain holiday tradition and the palace dropping a surprise interview with the future monarch. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

In an effort to remind us of just how busy the Wales fam has been, Kensington Palace has released its December Rewind, a social media review of the past month. Here are a few of the highlights from their Instagram Stories.

The first slide was an intro slide with falling snow. This was quickly followed by an image of Princess Catherine, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte lighting each other's candles at the annual Christmas Carol service. (I almost missed this sweet moment between the Wales kids when it first happened back in early December.)

Another image is quite ethereal and shows Princess Catherine facing away from the camera. The lighting in the picture has produced a glow around her, an almost halo effect, making it both stunning and memorable.

There are then several reminders of Prince William's events. First, there is an image of the future monarch serving lunch at The Passage homelessness charity.

Then, there is a striking—and personal—video of Prince William walking alone in the rain. And things wrap up with a look at William's surprise interview and the family's Christmas card.

Another busy month for the royals!
