Prince William & Kate Middleton Look ‘Relaxed’ & ‘Confident’ in Boston, According to Body Language Expert

Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to attend the annual Earthshot Prize Awards in Boston on December 2. But before they do, they're engaging in some tourist activities.

This week, the royal couple was seen stepping off a plane at Logan International Airport in Massachusetts. That night, they attended the Boston Celtics game at TD Garden. After analyzing photos from their latest outing, body language expert Darren Stanton shared some interesting insights about the couple’s overall demeanor.

Upon first glance, Stanton noticed that the royal couple appeared “relaxed” at the basketball game, with Prince William showing a range of “unusual” and “animated gestures.”

“Kate Middleton was clearly having a great time together with Prince William at the basketball game as she looked engaged at everything going on again while chatting jovially with him, making very genuine gestures of happiness and joy,” he said (on behalf of the Slingo).

Stanton also shared that Princess Catherine appeared to be having a good time at the event. “However, with Kate Middleton she always flashes a smile that shows true, genuine emotion—which tells us she is happy to be in that environment and to be speaking to other people,” he explained.

In the past, Stanton has acknowledged that the royal pair were “nervous” in social settings. But now, they have both gained more “confidence” as members of the British royal family. For example, Prince William showed a lot of “animated gestures” when he would talk to someone. On the other hand, Catherine was “relaxed” as she laughed and joked with the person beside her.

We’re so happy to see the royal couple enjoying their time in Boston!
