The Royal Fam Reveals Never-Before-Seen Christmas Pics of Kate Middleton with Her 3 Kids

Leave it to the royal family to get us in the holiday spirit weeks before we’ll even finish shopping for gifts (just us?). Whether it's Queen Camilla’s glimpse at her Christmas tree or Kate Middleton’s surprise appearance in a commercial for her Christmas caroling concert, those royals really know how to kick off the holiday season right. And now, royal stans have been given the best early present yet: a never-before-seen look at the Prince of Wales, 41, and Princess of Wales, 41, with their three kids, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.

Today, the official Instagram account of Prince William and Princess Catherine posted several shots from the upcoming holiday special, Royal Carols: Together at Christmas, which will air in the U.K. on ITV1 on Christmas Eve. The holiday special was prerecorded, but it looks like all three Wales children were present for the festivities.

In the first shot, we see Princess Catherine lighting Prince Louis’s candle (and is it just us or does it seem like Prince Louis’s faces are tamer than usual?). In another photo, we get a glimpse of the princess using her go-to parenting move with a young child. She often uses this with her own kids, where she gets down to eye-level with the child to make the conversation feel more like it is taking place on equal terms.

The post was captioned, “Such a special evening with @earlychildhood here at Westminster Abbey, joining so many wonderful people who do so much to support babies and children in our communities. The role of the early years workforce in #ShapingUs is so important, building supportive, nurturing worlds around children and the adults in their lives.”

It continued, “We’re so excited for you all to see it! Join us on @ITV this Christmas Eve.”

From other photos taken at the event, it looks like Prince Louis stuck pretty closely to his mom’s side, while Princess Charlotte and Prince George are starting to look so grown up.

Princess Catherine is back hosting the annual Royal Carols: Together at Christmas carol service (for the third year in a row). During the holiday special, Catherine will be joined by experts working in the field of early childhood development, a cause the royal princess holds near and dear to her heart. According to People, Royal Carols: Together at Christmas is associated with the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood as well as her new campaign Shaping Us, which is an initiative she launched earlier this year.
