Kate Middleton Uses This Go-To Technique When Posing for a Photograph

No matter the occasion, Kate Middleton looks absolutely stunning in photographs. Whether she’s making an important public appearance or attending a casual outing with family, the Duchess of Cambridge always seems camera ready. And to capture the perfect snapshot, it seems the royal has a special posing technique.

Per The Sun, royal style expert Miranda Holder opened up about how the duchess appears fabulous in every snapshot. “Have you ever wondered why Kate Middleton looks so stunning in her photographs?” she asked viewers in a TikTok video.

“The Duchess of Cambridge has had some media training, and I’m going to share a cheeky little style hack that she uses,” she continued. “She has simply been trained to always keep her chin parallel to the ground. She doesn’t tilt it down, she doesn’t tilt it up—and that ensures a flattering photograph every single time.”

The video later went viral, amassing over 3 million views and 353K likes. Despite her comments made in the clip, she received some backlash from users on the app.

Holder later told The Sun that she firmly believes in her claims, saying, “I can tell you from years of working with supermodels, celebrities, and models, that you can be the most gorgeous person in the world and still get a horrific photograph.”

She continued, “So it really is all about your relationship to the camera and where you place your jaw. If it’s too low, it’s not good. If it’s too high—definitely not good. We don’t want to see your nostrils.”

Guess Kate is truly a natural in front of the camera.
