And there's a personal touch

It's been just two weeks since Princess Catherine of Wales shared the news of her completed cancer treatments, but she's wasting no time in returning to her royal duties. For instance, earlier this month, the 42-year-old royal participated in an Early Years Meeting at Windsor Castle. And now, she's making headlines once again after attending another low-key event in London.

According to People, Kate Middleton paid a visit to Sadler's Wells Theatre and attended a matinee performance of Giselle by the English National Ballet. The princess was so impressed by their work that she took to Instagram and penned a personal statement to the team. On her Instagram Story, she shared a photo of the performers (courtesy of Laurent Liotardo) and wrote, "Congratulations and thank you to @ENBallet and @Sadlers_Wells for the wonderfully powerful, moving and inspiring performance of Akram Khan’s Giselle. Creativity at its best!"

The royal also included a personal touch by adding her first initial—a common gesture that's also used by her husband, Prince William. She also shared the message to her official X (formerly Twitter) account. In response, one fan wrote, "The way the Princess of Wales supports the ballet community... so lovely to see." Another tweeted, "I love this and I’m so happy our wonderful Princess is enjoying what she loves after what has been a stressful year."

According to Hello! magazine, Middleton's 9-year-old daughter, Princess Charlotte, also shares an interest in ballet. She told the outlet in 2023, "My daughter Charlotte likes dancing. She loves ballet and tap. Keep up the dancing." This certainly tracks, since the mother of three has been spotted taking Charlotte to private ballet lessons and performances on a few occasions.

In addition to her recent ballet event, Hello! magazine reports that Middleton has already started discussing her holiday plans, which will include hosting the annual Christmas carol concert. It will mark the fourth time she has served as host and, per usual, the event will take place at Westminster Abbey.

It's great to have you back, Princess Kate.
