Middleton reportedly selected the outfit in the hope of blending in with the rest of the attendees, as Hello! magazine points out. Knowing there would be plenty of interest in her outfit, the royal chose to wear a neutral color, along with a familiar silhouette, to minimize the amount of attention it would receive.
