Kate Middleton Just Launched a New Instagram Account in Honor of Special Project

First, Kate Middleton teased a new royal project by sharing a mysterious video on Instagram.  And now, the princess has launched another social media account.

This week, Princess Catherine debuted a new Instagram page (which is separate from the one she shares with her husband, Prince William) for The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood

Back in June 2021, the Prince and Princess of Wales created the foundation to help raise awareness about the importance of early childhood development. And for her very first IG post, Princess Catherine celebrated the launch of her special project, Shaping Us.

The photo featured the project’s title written in green font, set against a cream-colored background. The caption read, “Stay tuned for the launch of #ShapingUs.”

This past weekend, Princess Catherine posted a teaser video on the Instagram account she shares with Prince William. In it, the princess (completely out of frame) is opening a book that’s filled with pictures of families, children and more.

Then, she turns to a blank page and writes: “What shapes us?” At the end of the video, she lifts up a picture of a young girl with a message that reads, “Our early childhood shapes the adults we become.”

Yesterday, Princess Catherine traveled to Leeds to promote her new campaign. During her visit, she went to the Leeds Kirkgate Market and talked to vendors about early childhood development and Shaping Us.

We are so excited about this new project, Catherine.
